In the wake of a Hyperdub album released on a Sega Mega Drive cartridge, German musician Remute is releasing an album made entirely for the SNES.
The first SNES / SFC plug and play cartridge music album is coming in March 2020. 'The Cult Of Remute' is my 10th album. Pre-order is live now. Hurry up – first batch comes in RED! 🙂https://t.co/iTMmkeE8Fn pic.twitter.com/9KscKIwrS2

Entitled ‘The Cult of Remute’, the album was programmed specially for the SNES system and to work within its memory limitations. The SNES only has 64KB of audio RAM which severely limits the amount of samples and effects that can be loaded.
You can pre-order the album now for €35.99 on Bandcamp. The first batch of albums comes on an exclusive red cartridge. Its also region free so should work on any SNES or Super Famicom system.
