After a pre-CES leak, the Fossil group has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Skagen Falster 3.
As predicted, it is essentially a rebranded Fossil Gen 5. This means it has the exact same specs, the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The watch runs the latest version of Wear OS. It also features NFC for Google Pay support and 30 metre water resistance. There is a 42mm AMOLED face with interchangeable straps.
We recently reviewed the Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3 (also from the Fossil group). As this, the Fossil Gen 5 and the Falster 3 are essentially the same watch in a different casing, the performance should be very similar.
Skagen have also collaborated with Norwegian DJ Kygo to released a limited edition of the Falster 3. It features some exclusive watch faces and unique black with blue strap colour-way.
The Skagen 3 is available now priced at £279, with the Kygo edition available later in the year.
