Samsung Galaxy Note 10 range gets Android 10

Android 10 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ in the UK.⁣

Android 10 has been available on Google Pixel devices since early September but it usually takes manufactures a while to catch up. While usually on the slow side on the update front, the Galaxy S10 range got the Android 10 update a few weeks ago and now Samsung have managed to get the latest version out to Note 10 users just before Christmas.

The biggest noticeable change is the introduction of One UI 2.0, the updated version of Samsung’s Android skin. There are slicker animations and usability improvements, moving lots of UI elements to the bottom portion of the screen for increased ease of use. There are of course lots of under the hood changes too which increases speed, privacy and security.⁣

Other key features added include new gesture control which you can use in place of the on-screen buttons and Smart Reply, which allows you to reply to messages with preset templates based on context straight from the notification itself.

If the update hasn’t pushed through, head to Settings, Software Update, Download and install, or connect your device to a PC or Mac and run the Samsung Smart Switch application. The update comes in at around 2GB.
