Last night at The Game Awards, Microsoft surprised the gaming world by revealing the next iteration of the Xbox, the Series X.
Looking less like a traditional console and more like a small PC, the Xbox Series X can lay horizontal or vertical.
The Series X promises 8K gaming, 120fps frame rates, ray tracing and much faster load times via SSD.
There was also a new controller shown which features a dedicated share button much like the Sony DualShock 4. It’s slightly smaller that the standard Xbox One controller and has the re-designed D-Pad which is found on the Xbox Elite V2 controller.
The Xbox Series X is due to drop at the end of 2020.
