After months of rumours and speculation, and a few leaks along the way, Motorola has unveiled the revived the iconic RAZR. The new RAZR (styled as razr) is a modern take on the classic design, featuring a 6.2 inch foldable OLED display.
The new razr also features a second 2.7 inch display on the front for quick glance notifications, a fingerprint scanner on the chin and USB-C charging.
On the camera side, there is a 16MP main camera which features a night vision mode and a 5MP selfie camera on the inside.
In terms of specs, the razr falls into mid-range territory. Running Android 9.0 Pie and powered by a Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM and backed with 128GB of fixed storage, the $1500 price tag will be tough to swallow for some.
Outside of the price, the other concern is the battery which comes in at 2510mAh which is tiny by 2019 standards, so it remains to be seen if the new razr can comfortable get through a day.
The new razr will be available in January 2020 exclusively on Verizon in the US. Pricing and wider availability is TBC.
