Three launch 5G home broadband

Do you remember Relish, a London based 4G home internet company? Three snapped them up some time ago and are now offering 5G based internet at home, that is if you live in select parts of London (Camden, Camberwell, and Southwark).⁣

⁣Pricing is simple, £35 a month for 12 month for unlimited 5G data with an average speed of 100Mbps. ⁣This is faster and a lot of the time, cheaper option when compared to the likes of BT, Virgin and Sky. The great think about the router is that because it doesn’t use any hard landline or fibre, you can physically move the router anywhere, even if you move address.

The router itself is a Huawei 5G CPE Pro, the same model used by Vodafone and EE for their home broadband service. You can connect up to 64 devices at once, supports both 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz and Wi-Fi 6 technology, as well as 2 gigabit ethernet ports so you can connect up wired devices.

Set up is really easy, unbox the router, insert the SIM, power it up and you’re ready to get online.⁣ Three say they are going to cover more areas of London in the coming months and Three’s 5G network for mobiles is due to go live by the end of 2019.⁣
