Google has announced today that it will be brining Stadia to select Samsung, Asus and Razer phones.
Stadia has currently been limited to certain Pixel devices, as well as Chromebooks and anyone with the Stadia Founders Edition with a Chromecast Ultra
As of 20th February, the Stadia app will be available for the below phones via the Google Play Store, which includes the newly announced Galaxy S20 series.
- Samsung Galaxy S8+
- Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
- Samsung Galaxy Note 8
- Samsung Galaxy S9
- Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy Note 9
- Samsung Galaxy S10
- Samsung Galaxy S10e
- Samsung Galaxy S10+

- Samsung Galaxy Note 1+

It is no surprise that Google is supporting Samsung devices as they are the arguably the most popular manufacturer of Android devices. Razer and Asus phones are geared towards gamers, with top of the line specs and built in trigger buttons so it makes sense to target these customers also.
There is still no news on support for iOS devices. With the teething issues Stadia has had, you would think they would be keen to get it on as many devices as possible, espcially with the likes of Nvidia rolling out a smooth launch of their GeForce Now streaming service.
There are only currently 26 games available on Google Stadia, however Google have promised that at least 120 games will be available throughout 2020.
