The MINI Electric (also known as the MINI Cooper SE) is due to drop in March 2020.
With a top speed of 93MPH and reaching 0-60MPH in 7.3 seconds, this is targeted for urban drivers. You can expect to get a range of up to 144 miles from its 32.6kWh battery. Whilst the range isn’t touching top end electric vehicles, the smaller battery allows a quick charge time – 80 percent capacity in just 35 minutes.
The interior features a 5.5 inch display in place of the usual instrument cluster, as well as a 6.5 inch center console touchscreen which supports Apple CarPlay, real time traffic and MINI Online functionality. Other upgrades include rear parking cameras, drive assists, wireless phone charging and Harman Kardon audio.
